- Le Liban a recu le deuixème Sikorsky S-61N chargé de la lutte contre les incendies. Le troisième et dernier hélicoptère sera fourni dans les prochains délais.
- Lebanon has taken delivery of it's second Sikorsky S-61N firefighting helicopter. The final and third helicopter of the same type will be delivered in a fortnight.

- Le Général Jean Kahwaji se rendra bientôt à Doha, au Qatar pour des entretiens avec les fonctionnaires locaux. L'armée de l'air libanaise est en discussion avec le Qatar concernant une affaire avec Eurocopter pour la réparation et la fourniture de pièces de rechanges aux helicoptères Gazelles et Puma .
- Army commander General Jean Kahwaji will soon be heading to Doha, Qatar for talks with local officials. He is expected to discuss Qatari aid for the air force, including financing a deal with Eurocopter to do repair and provide spare parts to the exisiting Gazelle and Puma helicopters
